Hello my name is Sam Telford and I am a Senior at Ohio University with a major in Media Management. In my various classes I was told to work and build my brand. For the longest time I didn't know that my actions and who I am as a person really mattered, until I woke up from my college student slumber. I realized that after I graduate I would have to start finding a job and be able to market myself and create a brand that is all my own. In this blog I want to address and provide points of how to create your personal brand and build it up for a successful future. Along with various social media I will provide good lessons and practices to use when planning for a path to follow. Social media will play a great deal into my blog posts because it is a reflection of who you are and what you stand for. The people you meet and know in life can hurt and help you. I want to share with you my personal experiences and hopefully assist in building your brand for the upper hand and help you market yourself to stand out of the crowd.
